Happy Bday Ratna! It's so exciting to be at two different party on the same time. Last Saturday dunkie's was invited to his friend's cousin wedding and on the same building, my ex-student celebrates her sweet 17 :)

Not much to say, yesterday was a holiday, and I already planned to go to a place that I've been missing so much. And because of one and some things happen on my bday, I couldn't go there.
People say shit happens for some reasons. And it could go worse with me.

How I love friday...Not only because the day after is a holiday, but also I can use my fave jeans! Jeans is always a woman's bestfriend in any occasion. I don't care if skinny jeans is not a current trend, I just love the skinny jeans 'effect' to my legs, hahaha.

Sing It Out Loud!

Another fab day with Chieka n Livia, my high school mates. Singing can always make me feel more confident. Even though I know my voice is as bad as a toilet singer, but when you got the chance to held a mic, just sing as loud as you can, because in karaoke room, everyone is a singer ;) You pay for the room and for everybody else to hear you sing, hahaha.

Kalo ke mall pas lagi mo natal, digicam itu hukumnya wajib dibawa...
Gile kapan lagi liat dekorasi Natal yg menyejukkan hati :) Don't know why every time I remember Xmas is nearly coming, my heart beating faster, and seems like peace is waiting ahead!

Finally I was attending the SWG Connection Dinner 4 days ago. Officially the room was booked for 2 hours, but as time goes by people were act crazier and the manager approved to extend one more hour :)

So happy reading 3 different magz in one month, hahaha. The one that I find most inspiring is CLEO. Definitely will buy CLEO singapore again :)


I had my hair cut on Sunday, but the pic of my new hair was stored in dunkie's camera, so I'll just wait for him to give me those files. Oh I mean I can't be that patient waiting for him to move those pics in memory card to the notebook. Aaarrrrggg.

Foggy Jakarta

Jakarta beberapa hari ini diguyur hujan terus...bagus si, klo hujannya ga berlebihan...biar kota sumpek panas penuh polusi ini dibuat lebih sejuk sedikit :)
Di kantor yg biasanya suhu ruangannya pas jadi dingin banget tiap kalo hujan...And amazingly I can see fog from the window...


Enaknya bobo di rumah nih...uda cucok bgt suasananya :)

A superb lunch! After a decade I haven't eat Ciz n Chic, finally this noon it goes through my full stomach, hahaha. Thanks to Andi who bring these lovely meal from BiNus to the office, yeay!

Mom, dad and my sis are in SG now. And here I am, imagining them strolling in the wide unpolluted pedestrian walk, stop by in Charles&Keith store, pick this, try that oooooooooooh how I envy them. Then my mind shifted to my lovely *pardon?* campus. I'm 100% sure that most of you who studied in Indonesia agree that food stall around the campus are really cheap and tasty. I really don't care if my mom n dad leave me alone going abroad on my college time. But now????? The food around the office are lack of variety *sigh*.

On Friday, Nov 6th:
Dress code for today is baju gratisan, hehehe...I got this white tee from helping Mrs. Lala in BP Sales Certification...By the time I walk into my cubicle in office people start to asking where did I get this tee. Surely everyone wants a free gift :)


Oh gosh my eyes so droppy T.T Maklum lah sore2 di kantor, jam pulang kerja, ujan pula, jumat juga, and this drowsy girl decide to wait until rain stops before went home....

Attending sofware event at Intercontinental, almost having 2 bowls of chicken soto cause of its taste is oh so oishi :) But finally I manage not to take the 2nd bowl, hahaha. Great self control on this soto, but failed on coconut ice. I take 2 full portion of it *sigh*.

KOMPAS.com - World Watch Institute, dalam laporan yang dirintis Watch Magazine Edisi November/Desember 2009 menyebut bahwa peternakan bertanggung jawab atas sedikitnya 51 persen penyebab gas rumah kaca global. Ini bukan lagi lampu kuning melainkan sudah lampu merah.

World Watch Institute adalah organisasi riset independen di Washington Amerika Serikat yang berdiri sejak 1974. Organisasi ini dikenal kritis terhadap isu global dan lingkungan.

Dua peneliti itu juga menghitung siklus hidup emisi produksi ikan yang diternakkan, CO2 dari pernapasan hewan, dan koreksi perhitungan yang sebenarnya dari jumlah hewan ternak yang dilaporkan di muka bumi. Gas metana yang dikeluarkan oleh hewan ternak mengikat panas 72 kali lebih kuat daripada CO2. Hal ini mewakili kenaikan yang lebih akurat dari perhitungan asli FAO dengan potensi pemanasan sebesar 23 kali. Meskipun demikian, peneliti itu memberitahu bahwa perkiraan mereka tentang 51 persen itu masih angka minimal.

"Masyarakat Indonesia, bahkan pihak-pihak yang mestinya memerhatikan isu-isu lingkungan, harus tahu informasi-informasi mengenai dampak industri peternakan dan bahaya daging. Apa yang hendak pemerintah Indonesia lakukan sekarang ini? Data-data sudah terhampar. Pemerintah, jika masih saja tidak percaya tentang bahaya daging, tolong buka internet dan mencari tahu," ujar pemerhati lingkungan yang juga dosen arsitektur Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta Agustinus Madyana Putra.

Guys I think we should eat less meat. Okayyy I know meat is sooo delicious than vegetables, I do love to eat meat *esp steak*, but it'll do no harm to you if you could eat less meat than you used to. For example if you used to eat 2 pieces of fried chicken, then you can eat just 1 pc of it, then to put your stomach out of hunger you can buy fruit juice.

Fruit juice helps you fulfill the need of vitamins in your body, make your skin clearer, and brings you pure anti-oxidant from the inside. I'm sure you already know that anti-oxidant is very important in this polluted world. For me, drink one glass of fruit juice (my mom mix apple, papaya and tomato) every morning makes me far for dry and chapped lips.

I know being veggie it's the hardest thing for you who already know the taste of meat etc. Being a veggie it's not what I recommend you to do. But I do believe that lots of you also love to eat salad *and for me I heart gado-gado :)*. So the simplest thing to do is lessen the portion of meat, and eat more veggie and fruit to keep your stomach full :) :) :)

The following is the transcript of the speech that Severn Suzuki gave to the Plenary Session at the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio Centro, Brazil. Severn was twelve years old.

Hello, I'm Severn Suzuki speaking for E.C.O. - The Environmental Children's Organization.

We are a group of twelve and thirteen-year-olds from Canada trying to make a difference:
Vanessa Suttie, Morgan Geisler, Michelle Quigg and me. We raised all the money ourselves to come six thousand miles to tell you adults you must change your ways. Coming here today, I have no hidden agenda. I am fighting for my future.

Losing my future is not like losing an election or a few points on the stock market. I am here to speak for all generations to come.

I am here to speak on behalf of the starving children around the world whose cries go unheard.

I am here to speak for the countless animals dying across this planet because they have nowhere left to go. We cannot afford to be not heard.

I am afraid to go out in the sun now because of the holes in the ozone. I am afraid to breathe the air because I don't know what chemicals are in it.

I used to go fishing in Vancouver with my dad until just a few years ago we found the fish full of cancers. And now we hear about animals and plants going exinct every day -- vanishing forever.

In my life, I have dreamt of seeing the great herds of wild animals, jungles and rainforests full of birds and butterfilies, but now I wonder if they will even exist for my children to see.

Did you have to worry about these little things when you were my age?

All this is happening before our eyes and yet we act as if we have all the time we want and all the solutions. I'm only a child and I don't have all the solutions, but I want you to realise, neither do you!

• You don't know how to fix the holes in our ozone layer.
• You don't know how to bring salmon back up a dead stream.
• You don't know how to bring back an animal now extinct.
• And you can't bring back forests that once grew where there is now desert.

If you don't know how to fix it, please stop breaking it!

Here, you may be delegates of your governments, business people, organisers, reporters or poiticians - but really you are mothers and fathers, brothers and sister, aunts and uncles - and all of you are somebody's child.

I'm only a child yet I know we are all part of a family, five billion strong, in fact, 30 million species strong and we all share the same air, water and soil -- borders and governments will never change that.

I'm only a child yet I know we are all in this together and should act as one single world towards one single goal.

In my anger, I am not blind, and in my fear, I am not afraid to tell the world how I feel.

In my country, we make so much waste, we buy and throw away, buy and throw away, and yet northern countries will not share with the needy. Even when we have more than enough, we are afraid to lose some of our wealth, afraid to share.

In Canada, we live the privileged life, with plenty of food, water and shelter -- we have watches, bicycles, computers and television sets.

Two days ago here in Brazil, we were shocked when we spent some time with some children living on the streets. And this is what one child told us: "I wish I was rich and if I were, I would give all the street children food, clothes, medicine, shelter and love and affection."

If a child on the street who has nothing, is willing to share, why are we who have everyting still so greedy?

I can't stop thinking that these children are my age, that it makes a tremendous difference where you are born, that I could be one of those children living in the Favellas of Rio; I could be a child starving in Somalia; a victim of war in the Middle East or a beggar in India.

I'm only a child yet I know if all the money spent on war was spent on ending poverty and finding environmental answers, what a wonderful place this earth would be!

At school, even in kindergarten, you teach us to behave in the world. You teach us:

• not to fight with others,
• to work things out,
• to respect others,
• to clean up our mess,
• not to hurt other creatures
• to share - not be greedy.

Then why do you go out and do the things you tell us not to do?

Do not forget why you're attending these conferences, who you're doing this for -- we are your own children. You are deciding what kind of world we will grow up in. Parents should be able to comfort their children by saying "everyting's going to be alright" , "we're doing the best we can" and "it's not the end of the world".

But I don't think you can say that to us anymore. Are we even on your list of priorities? My father always says "You are what you do, not what you say."

Well, what you do makes me cry at night. You grown ups say you love us. I challenge you, please make your actions reflect your words. Thank you for listening.

what if

After watching Uya emang Kuya, I was wondering how does it feel to have a few boys all at once. Pasti rasanya campur aduk kaya nano-nano. Guilty, happy, proud, great confidence, excited, worried, anxious, and many more. Di reality show itu ceritanya cowo kls 1 SMA punya 3 pacar sekaligus and 1 gebetan cewe yg uda punya pacar juga. Really great, eh?
If only I could turn back time, which is totally impossible, I want to go back to my senior high school and date different boys every week. I don't know why my devilish mind working so hard to imagine those things. Maybe because I'm having a great relationship right now so doing something wild like that means ruining my beautiful life.

Oh no! I feel so greedy about food these days. Okay not only about food but also beverages. And the very first time I tried Green Tea Frappuccino at Starbucks, I feel like I'm addicted to it. Suddenly mom's tempe cross my mind. Ooh I want to go home.

six out of twelve

Yesterday I was having so much fun! Talk and laugh with manda, chubby, tolly, sunny, and gone. Lots of sale in Grand Indonesia, but I managed not to shop any single item, yeay! It's time to use my present clothes nicely, instead of thinking buying something new :)
